Just a quick note, because people have been emailing me about it: The 4th (and final) RepCom novel has been officially announced and it will be called Order 66! It will be a hardcover, and available next summer. :)

I will update the rest of the site with this info, as well as start putting more up about the recently-released True Colors when I get a chance. I'm writing a novel this month, so spare time is even more lacking than usual, sorry.

On another note, this site turned two years old last week. :D

The still-untitled 4th Republic Commando novel will be released July 28, 2008. It's good to know there'll be less than a year between the next two books, I was almost expecting RC4 to be pushed back to October as well. :)

I've been tweaking various pages on the site over the last few weeks. Most of them don't really need mentioning here, but today I was working on the FAQ, which had slightly more substantial additions. Thanks to everyone who's emailed me over the past few months with extra info. I don't have time to reply to you all individually, but I appreciate it... even if I knew it already. ;) So please, if there's a common question about our favourite commandos that you'd like to see addressed or answered, or rumours that you'd like confirmed or dispelled, feel free to contact me.

Oh, and since I don't think I've mentioned this in a news post yet: you can indeed download the entire Republic Commando soundtrack on the music page now. This is the exact same soundtrack that used to be available on the now-defunct RepCom official site. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, Republic Commando: True Colors has been delayed. Its new release date is October 30, 2007. I'm sure it'll be worth the extra wait though. :)

An announcement: The third Republic Commando book's title has been released! It will be called True Colors. (See the article where its title was mentioned here at StarWars.com.) 202 days, folks. :)

Alright, I'm not sure where to even start. I guess I should apologise for disappearing for so many months. Maybe I should talk about how I got a new job and moved to my own place and now spend much of my free time exploring interests outside of Star Wars, and thus my time to work on this site is minuscule compared to last year. But none of that really matters because none of you are here to hear about me. ;) You all care about the site, and the important thing is: I've updated! :)

It's not a large update, or even a medium update. But it's something. I'll say right off: I have not added all the fanfic in my inbox. I added stories from Commander5052, Chris Ganale, and Ghost, but I still have a ton more to do. I will get to it, I promise.

But in the meantime, and the biggest thing I added in this update: we now have a forum! I've lost count of the number of people who've requested this, so I only hope that you all will stick around and help get some interesting discussions going. :) I'll do my best to mod and participate as my schedule allows, but I really added this for you guys. So have fun with it. :)

Other news in the clone fandom: It has been announced that there will be two more Republic Commando novels! Very little info has been released about them, but I setup placeholder pages anyways, and a nifty countdown to the as-of-yet-unnamed Republic Commando 3 at the bottom of this page. :D Look for that on shelves in late July 2007 (yeah, I know... seems like forever), and I'll be sure to update here when the title and cover are released, even if no other info is. :)

Anyways, that's pretty much it for now. Make sure to check out the forum, and you can leave me any general comments about the site there if you wish. I hope the forum will make this place a bit more interactive. I keep getting wonderful emails and guestbook entries from you guys, but it feels like I'm in the center of a hub and everyone's talking to me, but not to anyone else. That's not as fun, especially when I'm so busy I have to fade away for a bit. Kinda ruins any fun discourse, heh. x_x So yeah, the forum'll hopefully help with that! And BTW to those of you who've been asking for a fanart section here - for now you can post your stuff on the Fanart section of the forum. :) I still hope to have a real fanart section someday, but I'm not going to rush in and add one like I did with fanfic, only to get overwhelmed and wish I thought through my coding system more thoroughly. So that might take a while.

Alright, I suppose that's it! Thanks for your patience, and once again I apologise for being MIA for so long. :) The site is certainly not dead! At least not anymore. ;)

The long-awaited update has arrived! Ok, it's not 100% the update I promised, but I threw in some extra stuff as well so hopefully that'll tide you over until I stop being lazy and update the profiles. (The only part of this site I hate working on... I really don't like writing, ugh.)

First and foremost - Triple Zero is OUT!! And it's awesome. :D I've updated the Triple Zero page, though I plan on adding an 'Important Events' section to it in the future. For now, you get more details about the book and what it includes, a list of major characters, and the summary from the back of the book. One of these days I'm going to wrote up a review of the book to submit to Amazon and other sites, and I'll probably post that here as well. (Note to self: Post Hard Contact review here too.) For those of you who haven't read TZ yet: don't worry too much about spoilers on this site because I haven't got to writing about them. ;) Also, I added two handy-dandy Amazon links to buy Triple Zero at the bottom of this page, so if you still don't have it... *hint hint* :)

However, there are lots of new quotes from Triple Zero! The book has its own quotes page, and I reorganized the Quotes section a bit (it didn't make sense to split on Omega Squad and Delta Squad anymore, because both Squads are in TZ). Also, some quotes have been added to the profiles (mainly Fi and Ordo, if I remember correctly). More quotes will be added later from a bunch of sources - I just need to organize and cross-check them for correctness.

Aside from Triple Zero stuff, I've added some other new content to the site. The Mando'a page has been completely revamped because the language has been officially released now. It also includes a list of Mando'a terms that all clone fans who wish to converse on the internet with other fans should know. :) I added a page for Odds, the mini-sequel to Triple Zero in the latest Star Wars Insider (which I don't have yet, so I can't say a whole lot about... next update!) and updated the Hard Contact and Omega Squad: Targets pages. I also made a page listing all the Republic Commando books/games/etc. in chronological order, for those of you like like exploring the Star Wars universe in a sequential fashion. I also added a slightly embarrassing page to the Fan Geekery section... some of you who read my Star Wars Blogs (1 2) may have seen that already. :) And there are a few new icons and avatars, a couple of them submitted by Corran_Fett.

In terms of fanfic, we have two new stories posted today by Miguel and Ghost. I have additional stories by Gabe, Ghost, and Commander5052 in my inbox and will be formatting and posting them shortly, so please don't resend! Ugh, I really need to work out a faster and more efficient way of getting fanfic up, because it's just annoying to always be so far behind. Sorry.

And let's see... as always, there are many other pages that had minor updates. Some of them were About Me, About Me (2), the FAQ, RepCom Music, the You Know You're Obsessed page, and the Disclaimer / Credit / Usage page. Also, both fanlistings now have Favourite Character stats on the Members pages. Currently Fi is the favourite Omega, and most people like all the Deltas.

I know it's been forever since my last update, but I just wanted to check in and say that rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I am indeed working on adding Triple Zero info to the site, as well as other new stuff. I just have a lot of other things to do nowadays as well. :( But I will endeavour to have the site updated within a week's time. Sorry for the delay!

In my quest to update this site more than once a month... here's a small-ish update.

Today I updated the Mando'a page with some news and a link to a second Mando'a podcast by Joel Anderson. (And it uses my medley in the background, which is just too cool. :D) There's also a new fanfic by Corran_Fett. And I archived some of the older news posts (to keep this page shorter) and fixed a few other minor things.

With only 15 days remaining until Triple Zero's release, I'm sure many of you are wondering what I'm going to do about spoilers. I intend to buy and read the book as soon as I can (within a couple days of release, and if Amazon cooperates, I'll have the book right on February 28) but I will not post any spoilers or update this site with content from the book for a month after release. This is to give everyone a chance to buy and read the book. On or around April 1, 2006, I will update the Triple Zero page, the profiles, the quotes, and other relevant sections, but you're safe to view the site until then, ok? If you're not able to get the book right away and were hoping I'd post spoilers everywhere... well, sorry. LOL! :) I'd suggest you check out some forums instead; I linked a few threads on the Triple Zero page, and no doubt they'll fulfill all your spoiler needs until I update the site. :)

Next time look for new icons, avatars, and quotes! And we'll have to see what else - I'm in the middle of several other big things for the site, but I don't know what's going to come together first.

Once again this update is way overdue... I promise that updating won't turn into a monthly thing, ok? I've just been so busy. x_x

The biggest new additions are the fanlistings! This site now hosts fanlistings for two subjects: the Republic Commando game and Republic Commando: Hard Contact. What's a fanlisting, you ask? Simply put, it's just a list of fans. You can be added to the list by filling in a form, and then we all can see how many clone fans there are and where in the world they're located. You can check out TheFanlistings.org, headquarters for all things fanlistings, for more about that... but please feel free to join one or both of the listings! I've always been wondering how many clone fans there actually are out there, and this is a good way to find out - as well as see how many fans there are of both 'flavours' (game, book, or both). (A note to those of you who've joined already... if you left comments in the "Questions? Problems? Comments?" box, I didn't get them. My bad, I messed up the script. It's fixed now, but if you asked me something or are waiting for a reply of some sort, please , ok? Sorry.)

Next big thing: I spent more than 3 hours formatting fanfic last night, and now my fanfic inbox is empty! So there's lots of new stories for you to read... check out the new fics by Miguel (3 fics) and Kudzu (7 fics), as well as newcomers Ben, Commander5052, Green ARC Trooper05, and Tripleguess. All in all, 14 new fics to read so that'll hopefully keep you guys busy. :)

And as usual, there've been other minor updates around the site, including the Mando'a page, the Me page, the you-know-you're-obsessed page, the Delta Squad quotes page, and the shiny-new Affiliates page. We also have 4 new wallpapers featuring Boss, contributed by Tony - thanks! And I think I added one new icon of Alpha recently.

One last thing: if you like the Jedi, check out Jedi-Praxeum.net, a Jedi fansite with a structure & mission similar to this one and run by my friend Kim. :) She's got lots of good content there!

37 days till Triple Zero!

Ok, it's been way too long since my last update, and I apologise. I'm going to have to apologise again, because I promised I'd have the rest of the fanfic up, and I don't. :( I was going to work on the site a lot this weekend, but I've had a really bad headache both yesterday and today, and formatting fanfic is not exactly high on my 'want to do' list. :/ So that'll have to come later. Sorry to the authors who are waiting on me - I suck, I admit it. I'll do my best to get your stuff online ASAP.

Well, what I have done is add bunch of new info to the Triple Zero page. We have more details on the Triple Zero excerpt in Dark Nest III: The Swarm War (make sure you get a copy - it's out December 27th!) and we now know that the book will contain a small glossary of terms, the short story Omega Squad: Targets, and an excerpt from Betrayal, the first Legacy of the Force book.

I also added a Mando'a page to the site today! And I put up a new and rather-minimalist wallpaper that I made recently for my new computer.

And finally, I'd like to link to the Karen Traviss Yahoo Discussion Group. Dawn did an excellent job setting up a place for fans to talk about Karen's stories, both her SW and her non-SW ones. So feel free to join in on the discussions!

72 days till Triple Zero!

Another mostly-fanfic update today. New stories by Kudzu and Miguel were added, so check them out! I have more fic I need to format up too - by Kudzu and Commander5052 - so be on the lookout for that! I also added one new Sev icon to the gallery, to go along with the Fixer icon I previously made. :) As soon as I make up good screennames for the other two Deltas, I expect they'll have icons as well! ;) The fan geekery section isn't quite as empty now, with the list of ways you know you're obsessed with clones. :) I also made minor changes and additions to the Links page.

Being busy sucks... I haven't had time to do much on the site. :( But I'll keep trying to add things whenever I can. Next update look for the rest of the fanfic, plus Omega Squad in the The Sims 2, a page about the RepCom comic 'Honor Bound', and maybe more!

I'd like to thank everyone who's given me feedback on the site so far, either through email, comments, or the guestbook. I appreciate it very much!

Finally, I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the Triple Zero countdown below; in particular the fact that it's less than 100 days now! I was originally planning to update the site when we crossed the line from 100 days to 99 days, but I forgot... oops. Anyways, less than 100 days now, yay! (I've been counting since over 200, so it seems so much closer now!)

I was hoping to include more in this update... but it looks like I'll be too busy to work on the site in the near future (probably not till next weekend). And since I spent all of yesterday afternoon coding the fanfic section and reading/formatting stories, I might as well put them online now! So go check it out: clone-related fanfic from three different authors! Note that you can either read the stories as part of the site (ie. black background with the header image and the left menu), or you can click the 'printable version' link to see the story in a window on its own with a white background. Enjoy. :)

Updates! Like, actual real updates this time! ;) Ok, nothing incredibly earth-shattering, as I unfortunately have a life outside of this site (a small one, but time-consuming nevertheless). Look for more soon.

First things first: we have a shiny new Updates Email List! So if you don't like having to remember to visit every once in a while to see what's new, join the list and you'll get an email every once in a while letting you know what I've updated (no more than once a week - I don't want to spam). And you don't need to worry about privacy or spam or anything: only I will see your email address, it's super-easy to unsubscribe, and I won't share or sell your email to anyone.

So today I added an awesome desktop wallpaper by Mike to the wallpapers section. Check it out! I also have some fanfic submissions and I'll do my best to get them online soon. :) And I've been working on the fan geekery section, so look for some of that stuff to be online shortly.

A few more minor updates today. (I'm working on some major ones too, don't worry! Just be patient. :D) Um, let's see... small additions to the Triple Zero page and Darman's profile, and I changed the graphics on Atin's profile to be green (because for some reason I associate Atin with green and the red/grey graphics seemed wrong). I've also been playing around with coding and scripts a lot, but that won't be noticible from your side of things.

Just a few minor updates today. I added a privacy info page, which doesn't say anything interesting at the moment because this site stores exactly zero cookies on your computer. But it's a good thing to have. I also added one icon of Fixer to the site. There were a few other extremely minor things, but they're not worth mentioning here. :)
