This isn't going to be long, hard to understand, or in legalese... but I figured I should mention some privacy-related issues regarding this site and what info it collects from you.
In short, there is very little. This site doesn't automatically store any information about you that isn't automatically stored for every website you visit (ie. your browser, your IP address). The main site uses no cookies at the moment.
When you sign up for the Updates List and click the link in the verification email, your email address will be stored on the server so you can receive updates about the website. But your email is not shared with anyone else - only I will be able to see it. You will not receive more than one email per week, and all emails will be regarding updates to this website. You can unsubscribe easily at any time, no questions asked.
When you join one of the fanlistings, the info you type in is stored and displayed on the site (except your email, which you can opt to have hidden). You can ask me to remove or change your information at any time, no questions asked.
The forum will track your IP address and store cookies needed for its own operation. Your email address or any other information will not be shared with third parties, unless you allow it. Only Admins and Mods can see your IP address. If you wish to delete your forum account, or have any other questions about it regarding privacy issues, please don't hesitate to contact me.
So really, there isn't anything to worry about here. This site does not track your movements over the internet, install stuff on your computer without you knowing, or sell your personal info to spammers. Really. I hate that as much as you do.
Please note that the above only applies to pages at clonecommandos.net. When following links from this site, you will have to check out the privacy policy of the external site to know how your information is stored and will be used.
